It began as a hobby. It still is one.
I'm Abul Khoyer. I'm a regular buyer of decants and samples, and when one earns a place on my shelf, I buy the full presentation. Fragscentric is where that hobby lives. What you see here is the part of my collection I've chosen to share.
How I find what I carry
I don't shop from bestseller lists. I go to meetups and sniffing sessions, where the conversation is about blends most people haven't heard of yet. That's where the hidden gems turn up: bottles that aren't famous, but are worth wearing.
A bottle makes it onto the shelf only after I've lived with it. Samples first, then a full presentation if I still like it after wearing it a while. By the time something is listed here, it has already passed my own test.
The collection speaks for me
I could describe my taste in notes and accords, but I think the collection does that better than I can. What's listed here is my taste, as honestly as I can show it.
Why only 10ml and 15ml, not samples
I care about presentation. A perfume from Fragscentric is something you can gift someone, not just a tester. Each one gets a production-grade perfume label, not a generic sticker with a brand name scribbled on it. The bottle, the label, the box, they all match.
That's why I start at 10ml. A 2ml or 5ml sample in a cheap atomizer with a hand-written label doesn't feel right to me. I share decants only in 15ml bottles because the atomizer quality matters. The only difference between a 10ml and a 15ml is the bottle size and its label.
As a hobbyist, I can't mass-produce multiple size options. Every bottle, label, and box is part of one consistent presentation, so I keep it to these two sizes.
And I feel my perfumes are worth trying properly. If one matches your taste, you have enough juice to wear it for a long time. You're not buying a sample to sniff once. You're buying a perfume, at a budget you can afford.
How I decide if a bottle is worth it
I run every perfume through the same few checks before it earns a place here:
- Smell it before you buy. Reading Fragrantica reviews is not the same as wearing it.
- Choose the smell, not the brand name. The logo on the bottle doesn't change how it smells.
- One great bottle beats five cheap ones. Five dupe bottles cost about the same as one real one.
- Pay for a scent you'll actually wear. A bottle that gathers dust was a waste of money, cheap or not.
- Trust the source before the price. If a deal looks too good, the bottle is usually fake.

There are thousands of decant sellers out there, many with catalogs of 10,000+ perfumes. I don't try to compete with that. I carry a small, personal collection, and every bottle on it is one I chose, wore, and kept.

Why I decant
My collection is wide, and a 100ml bottle is more than I can ever finish on my own. Letting it sit unused would be a waste. So I set aside a portion of each bottle, usually up to about 50ml, for decants.
This way the juice goes to people who'll actually wear it, instead of slowly aging on my shelf. It also makes my next purchase easier to afford. And honestly, sharing a scent I love with someone who hasn't tried it yet is the part I enjoy most.
